I am an academic who dabbles in coding, electronics, and bizzare design challenges when not haunting the university scaring undergrads.
Hobbies include reading fiction and non-fiction, contemplating math and physics problems, karate, pencil-and-paper roleplaying games, and playing with obsolete game consoles.
I am presently studying for my PhD at York University, with the Vision Sensor (VISOR) Lab. My work details are here. I have received my MASc from the University of Toronto, where I worked with the Computer Engineering Research Group.
I am a developer with the ArdReil project on SourceForge, producing an open source clone of the DOS game "Anacreon". I am the manager of the cif2tribes project on SourceForge, which converts integrated circuit designs into first-person shooter maps for visualization purposes. I am also the manager of the dvdtour project, which is a command-line utility used to assemble DVDs containing "virtual tours" and other navigable sets of pages/animations.
